You may remember Bubbylonian Encounter from elementary school, Just the Facts in middle school or our newest programs for high school, More facts.

Sexual Harassment is any deliberate or repeated sexual behavior that is unwelcomed, as well as other sex-related behaviors that are hostile, offensive, or degrading.
- More then two-thirds of all boys and half of all girls say they have been sexually harassed at some time in their life.
- Only 7% of students who have been sexually harassed report the incident to a teacher. If they tell anyone at all, most students (63%) tell a friend.
- Many students would rather skip school than face the person who is harassing them.
- Most students report that being sexually harassed makes them feel less sure of themselves.

- One out of six boys will experience some form of sexual harassment by the age of 18.
- Usually the perpetrator is a male.
- The same examples of sexual harassment apply to male students as female students, however they may be more reluctant to call it “sexual harassment” because they don’t want their masculinity called into question.
Sexual Assault is FORCED Sexual Contact
- By the end of high school between 10% to 25% of girls and 4% to 10% of boys are estimated to have been sexually abused. Many at the hands of those they live with, some from dates, peers or bosses.
- Teens are 31/2 times more likely to be sexually assaulted than the general public.
85% of sexual assault happens by someone you know and trust like a friend, a date, a family member, pastor coach or someone you may have seen once or twice.
