Volunteers are our greatest asset!
Volunteer Applicant Review Process:
All applicants for volunteer service with the St. Clair County Child Abuse/Neglect Council shall be interviewed in person or via telephone and directed toward the appropriate area of work. If appropriate, volunteers will be invited to participate in Council committee work. Volunteers who serve significant hours will record hours on forms provided.
Our children's safety is of paramount concern to all of us. Look around you. If you become aware of an unsafe situation, let someone know who can help that child and that family. Be alert, knowledgeable and aware of the signs of child abuse and neglect and report suspicions to:
St. Clair County Department of Human Resources, Child Protective Services, at 1-810-966-2173 between 8-5 p.m. and 1-800-662-1023 after hours, weekends and holidays.
